New Article in Journal of Research on Technology in Education Examines Assessing Computational Thinking with Zoombinis

A new article, 鈥淰alidating game-based learning assessment of students鈥 computational thinking practices using Bayesian networks and machine-learning based detectors,鈥 by Elizabeth Rowe, Russell G. Almond, and Ma Victoria Almeda has been published in the Journal of Research on Technology in Education. The study uses data from 716 students to examine how 黄色电影’s digital game Zoombinis can support assessment of computational thinking practices鈥攑roblem decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithm design.
